Hi Encore Families,

A few quick reminders:

• This Saturday’s Away Meet: We still have quite a few families that have NOT YET DECLARED if their swimmers are swimming this weekend. Since it’s an away meet, we have a strict file submission deadline. Please submit attendance and preferred strokes by tomorrow, Tues 6/25 11:59pm. Any undeclared swimmers will not be able to swim in the meet (but we still find ‘not attending’ useful for our data team, so please declare!)
• Swim-A-Thon! We have our annual swim-a-thon scheduled for July 9 (Tues) during your regularly scheduled practice hour. More details to come, but mark the date! Each swimmer will have a 99pledges account to help with any fundraising they choose to do, and we will share rough lap counts that our swimmers did last year. It’s a fun time for the kids, and at the end we’ll have small prizes and activities for them. Event Calendar is here, including our end of Season Awards.
• Parents of swimmers in the 2nd and 3rd hour (9yr-18yrs): Please bring hand paddles and pull buoys to practices this week going forward! Please check a previous email with more detail if you still need to purchase them.
• This week’s theme (since it may need a little more prep) is Super Heros!
