Dear Encore Families,

We have some important updates for our upcoming Time Trials – and while the change is unexpected, we’re excited about the creative solution we’ve come up with!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Pioneer High School’s District has scheduled pesticide spraying for next Saturday, which unfortunately conflicts with our original Time Trials date. While we have made every effort to negotiate a different date for the spraying, the District's schedule is firm.

However, every challenge is an opportunity in disguise! To ensure the safety and well-being of our swimmers, and to preserve the invaluable experience that Time Trials offer, we’ve arranged an exciting two-day Time Trials event during our usual practice hours on Tuesday (5/4) and Wednesday (5/5) from 5pm to 7:30pm.

By adapting in this way, we maintain continuity with our regular practice on Monday and Thursday and open up the chance for greater participation. Our snack shack will also be open on both days, featuring delicious pizza at cost to simplify your dinner plans and keep you and our swimmers fueled and ready to go!

We kindly ask that you coordinate with your Volunteer Chairs regarding your availability (and if you can come early) as soon as possible. Your participation is crucial, and we hope you can make this event a priority. This is a team effort, and every role is important as we prep for the Los Gatos meet on Saturday.

Please keep an eye out for an email next week to re-register for the two separate Time Trial days to mark attendance & re-sign up for what your swimmer will swim.
